It would be helpful if the care instruction tag were written in Mandarin AND English. It does have care symbols, so wash in cold water in mild detergent and air dry.No dryer! It will shrink, it's cotton.Air dry and the greater care you take to smooth it out flat while it's wet the fewer wrinkles you will have after it dries. It wrinkles like linemen, so it needs a light iron. Like linen, this fabric will get softer and will gracefully fade as it ages.I could do without the drawstrings St the pants cuts as they are unnecessary and do not work anyway.I'm happy with it, my apprehensions about ordering the correct size.Again if your selling to the States please provide inches as well as metric.I am 6 ft tall (182.88 cm) average/athletic build. I purchased 1 black and 1 navy blue according to the (confusing) chart. At first fitting they felt baggy/oversized, especially with the pants. The waist line felt right at belly button. I also noticed the dye from the material was bleeding. After soaking and washing cold for 2 cycles and tumble dry high for 50min I have noticed the dye has stopped rubbing off on my hands/furniture and the material has shrunk. I do not believe these garments have been pre-washed for shrinkage. However they fit as they should now that they have shrunk slightly. The dye has also lightened considerably after 2 wash cycles. Also, the fabric has softened up. Shipping was free, arrived in two days to Boston. Made in China. Garment label reads " Wa Bi Sa Bi". Care instructions are in Japanese. The Craftsmanship is average. Overall good purchase for the price but, keep in mind that the garments shrink, bleed and fade.I ordered XXXL, and received XXXXL...The length was great to fit, but waist and chest were little bit too big.Sleeve was too short, but I know that it can't be helped about the length of sleeve because my arms are too long for Wafuku style...Over all, I like it.It is a very good product, especially for the price ($50).Workmanship is very nice and doesn’t feel cheap. It is as comfortable as this king of clothing gets. Black denim looks great, if this is your thing.I wear medium US - ordered size L - fits very good. Minimal shrinkage after washing (cold; delicate cycle on both washer and dryer).Arrived in two days. There is one design flaw in my opinion: the drawstring on the pants doesn’t go all the way around, but just through the front part. And the rubber band on the back is not particularly strong. So, one cannot tie this pants really tight, that they do not slide down during rigorous activity (like exercising or working outdoor). This is no problem however for wearing at home, doing yoga or sitting meditation etc.As another purchaser pointed out. This garment, after washing, has a strange sulfur like smell to it. The same smell after lighting a match. I've tried washing several times now (using different detergents) and the smell is only getting stronger.Other than this odd smell I have no problems with it (I bought the black color option) and have actually bought the same one in green. I haven't washed that one yet for fear of the same result. The denim is considerably heavier than I expected. That's just a neutral fact; but this is definitely an autumn-winter item. Given the great length of the inseam, the jacket is almost comically short. Every juban I own sticks out at the bottom. I suspect that, as the jackets move from 2XL to 3XL to 4XL, the width increases and not the length. Given the width of the waist in the jacket, and the length of the tourser portion, the pants' waist is rather small. Overall, it's OK. There are much better products out there. Sadly none in larger sizes.Good basic Samue, seeing as as my partner as myself wear one each. I enjoy the material very well! However, I wish there were more female options for this type of outfit. Good, all around protection and not too stiff. Kind of baggy around the legs though, however I am a fit woman, but even my partner wont wear the pants he got with it. Dawstrings works fine but bunches our pants up a little too much. Great work work and training.I recently bought one of these while on vacation in Japan and was very happy to find them available from Amazon so that I could get more in various colors. They're very comfortable and I use them daily for wear around the house, inside and out. They are based on garments worn by outdoor workers (gardeners, monks, etc.) in Japan and are also used as lounge wear at resorts and hotels, much like the complimentary robes provided by hotels in the U.S. It is acceptable to wear them anywhere in and around the resort and even in the town around the resort.Purchased this as a costume base layer for a brand new LARP system (Jade Throne) and it was warm and robust in a Coventry Campsite on a windy and wet September weekend. Comfy enough to lounge around the house in as well, hard-wearing enough to wear out and about. Impressed at how quickly it arrived as well. This Japanese, outfit is the Dogs B! Very nice denim material. Very well made and it comes at a very good price, arrived earlier than expected. Absolute Empfehlung!
