I ordered this jacket because I already have a Marmot long down coat with a hood that is exceptionally warm but not the most attractive, so I usually only wear that one in the most extreme weather to throw on late at night when walking the dog.I wanted something that was not down, to wear that was a bit more stylish for all the other times, so I bought this shorter and more fitted jacket. This jacket is well made and has a nice shape to it. There is plenty of room in the arms and chest to move around or to layer. The pockets are deep enough and it is comfortable to wear. It is fiber fill and rated as 700 fill warmth, but I find it is a bit thin and does not perform like down...just not quite warm enough on the coldest days outside, requiring a heavy sweater, fleece or additional vest to be worn with it.It is adequate in upper 30's and 40 degree weather. I haven't done any serious walking or exercise outdoors in it though, perhaps it would perform better. Not serious cold weather outerwear. If you are looking for real warmth I would recommend the longer Marmot down coat like the Montreal or MontreauxGiven that, I am still pretty happy with this jacket, just not on the coldest days.I got it on sale, and it is worth every penny. I usually get an XL so I can wear a sweater underneath. The XL fits just right and contours slightly at the waist. Nice and warm and not too bulky. I love how the back is longer than the front. Worth the money!!!!My favorite! I have in a few colors!Fue para regalo y está encantada.recomendable
