I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. I ordered the 29 and it was a bit tight and long in the leg. The leg is very form fitting and not for those with thicker calves. The butt pocket is a weird shape too. I considered returning but I needed to wear for a specific outfit and didn't want to shop or have time for a return. Plus it was a significant discount off of retail so I kept it.
