I was really surprised by this jacket. I ordered it because I needed a black jacket which was waterproof, had a hood but also had multiple pockets. I found the spyder jacket and I have to say that even though it is not down it is very very warm. Wrist gaiters are a plus. Very light weight jacket and trust me I have worn it every day since I got it a couple of months ago and I have come across sharp objects and even weren't for hiking and skateboarding. I even fell a couple of times wearing this jacket and it must have a abrasion resistant type of material because nothing happened to it. Very pleased with itIt is very stylish as well, couldn't be happier.
