If you want to look like you instantly gained 30 pounds, buy this jacket. I'm 5'8, 135 lbs - small in most everything. I ordered a SM in this jacket and it's massive. Vanity sizing? The cut is also strange - very wide in the middle which puffs out, giving a Michelin man look. The flap of fabric hanging down looks like an afterthought, rather than part of the coat (as pictured in the photo). Truly one of the worst jackets I've ever tried on. Have no idea whose body this would flatter.I agree with the other reviewer- this is an incredibly unflattering jacket, very boxy and frumpy. The quality is good and it is warm, so I recommend it if you are not too concerned with the way it looks. The fit is fairly true to size, perhaps just a tiny bit on the larger size.
