This might be the world's most perfect ski jacket. For a curvy girl like me, its contoured shape is much more flattering than the usual boxy fare. It is super lightweight and yet quite warm. It kept me dry and toasty through several heavy snowstorms on the slopes this season, even in temperatures down in the teens. I wouldn't say it would do for real arctic conditions, but as a top layer over ski thermals and a polar fleece skiing out west in February and March, it was fantastic. I do wish it had side zips for venting, and it also does not have as many pockets as a typical ski jacket. However these are small quibbles - this is a terrific jacket, and the first ski jacket I've ever had that I've actually worn around town at home as well. Highly recommend!
